• • When did you first join a Sports Biz Program?
    • Spring 2021
  • What did you think, or know, about the sports business BEFORE being a part of Sports Biz?
    • I didn't know there were many different fields in sports. Before SBC, I was very passionate about being a sports agent, because that's what I was exposed to.
  • What have you learned about sports business AFTER attendance?
    • I learned about various professions in the sports industry. Most importantly, I learned valuable insights on how to navigate those spaces and get my foot in the door.
  • What did you specifically learn/experience from your first program?
    • I learned how to effectively utilize LinkedIn and conduct informational interviews. I received advice on my resume and how to follow up with professionals. Most importantly, I learned about personal branding and how to articulate my story/experiences.
  • Have you pursued an internship or part-time job because of Sports Biz? If yes, explain
    • Since my introduction to SBC in Spring 2021, I have been in internships with Navigate, UAlbany Athletics, Sports Biz Camps, SponsorUnited, New York Knicks & NBPA.
    • Programs/Part-Time: MLB On Deck and Brooklyn Nets
    • Sports Biz Camps have taught me how to navigate into these spaces and I wouldn't have been able to accomplish all of this if it wasn't for their programming and support!
  • What are your next steps to pursue your career/future?
    • My college objective is to continue to experience an internship in different areas such as leagues, brands, agencies, and teams to identify which area I like.
    • Get experience in different avenues of corporate partnerships.
    • Maintain good grades and graduate in 2024!
  • Why do you want to support other students to experience SBC?
    • All of this happened to me from a free-funding experience. Sports Biz Camps is a valuable resource and all college students should be exposed to this organization. Their mission aligns perfectly with my values, so I'm passionate about exposing college students to an opportunity to have a similar testimony just like mine!
