SBC'S CAREER EXPLORATION CAMPS 2023

SBC is back in 2023 with our Career Exploration Camps!
Career Exploration Camps provide the 1st step for any high school student who loves sports, and is curious to learn how they can turn that passion into a career. Since 2019, more than 350 high school students have participated in these in-person camps.
Charlotte is SOLD OUT but there are still spots remaining in our other markets.
The registration deadline is May 30! REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCESS: Students will need to formally apply once registered.
Who can attend?- While any high school student is able to attend, the program is designed for rising juniors and seniors Preference will be given to these students in the admissions process.

- Students meet and interact with sports industry professionals across multiple career pathways including sports marketing, sports stats & analytics, sports media, sports agency, and more. In 2022, ten (10) different career pathways were explored.
- Students will also visit local stadiums and arenas behind the scenes of the sports business. In 2022, students made a total of 25 visits to 22 different stadiums and arenas.
What is the process to attend?
It's a 2-step process. In order to attend, students must first register and then complete an application. The application will be shared following registration. Students will be admitted based on the following criteria:
- Preference is given to rising juniors and seniors
- Completed applications will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- 50 students can attend each program. Up to 10 students will be included on the waitlist.
What is the cost to attend?
- $0. No student ever pays! All programs are fully funded thanks to the generosity of SBC donors and sponsors.
**IMPORTANT PROGRAMMING NOTES:
- THIS IS NOT AN OVERNIGHT CAMP OR PLAYING SPORTS CAMP.
- Students will be dropped off (9am)+ picked up each day (4pm).
- Parking will be provided to students who drive themselves.
- Lunch and snacks will be provided!
